Silversept® Silver Antimicrobial Skin & Wound Gel
LATEX FREE, amorphous hydrogel wound dressing that helps to maintain a moist wound environment that is conducive to healing. Silversept will absorb a mild amount of wound exudate. Silversept will not stain or discolor tissue.
Available in 1.5 oz. and 3 oz. tubes.
Long Lasting
Silversept functions as a long-lasting, antimicrobial barrier by inhibiting the growth of bacteria including the antibiotic resistant strains: MRSA & VRE, as well as, clinically important fungi such as: Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger.
Biocompatibility and Safety:
Silversept has been subjected to rigorous biocompatibility and safety testing at independent testing laboratories and shown to be non-irritating, non-sensitizing and non-cytotoxic and meets the highest standards for safe use.

Sustained Duration of Action:
Silversept has been shown in antimicrobial effectiveness studies (see table 2 on brochure) to maintain its high level of antimicrobial barrier properties for up to 3 days.

Silversept® Silver Antimicrobial Skin & Wound Gel is currently reimbursed under Medicare Code A6248. The current reimbursement rate is $18.92/ oz. or $56.76/ 3 oz. tube for all states except: AK: $19.08/oz., HI: $20.40/oz., and PR: $22.00/oz. Medicare allowable: 3 oz. / month.
